Dr. Robert Hintze
Choosing a pediatric dentist is about more than credentials. Parents want a doctor who understands children, communicates with patience, and helps kids feel safe from the very first visit.
Dr. Robert Hintze grew up in Chesterfield, Missouri where he attended Parkway West High School. He went on to graduate from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended THE Ohio State University where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2015. After graduation he completed his two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi where he received extensive training in treating children of all ages as well as those with special healthcare needs.
In 2017 Dr. Robert and his family decided to move back to St. Louis and he has been serving the Wentzville community ever since! He and his wife Maren keep busy with their five children, but in his rare free time, he enjoys running, fishing and of course, Ohio State football.
Dr. Robert is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.

Dr. Rob and his family decided to return to St. Louis to join Pediatric Dentistry of Sunset Hills in 2017. He sees patients in the Wentzville office and is also on staff at Mercy Hospital. Dr. Rob’s main goal is to make sure your child receives excellent care in a setting that is comfortable and positive. He feels strongly that having good experiences at the dentist early in life can help set patients up for success long term. He also prides himself on making sure parents are informed and educated about their children’s oral health.
